Improper disposal or use of toxic pesticides can threaten the aquatic environment and river, our treatment plant permit compliance, and water reuse.

Are you storing leftover pesticides? Clean out leftover pesticides (such as those containing chlorpyrifos, diazinon, or pyrethroids) and other chemicals by safely disposing them at your local household hazardous waste facility. Never dispose of pesticides down the drain or in the trash. Alternatively, consider using a non-toxic or less toxic pesticide.
